Perseverance, why is it important?
The wide-eyed teenager finally did it.His science project he’d worked on for months was complete.His friends always laughed because every day his dark circled eyes hang low, but his friends didn’t know that William stays up late working on his mankind changing invention… till now. Because of William’s persistence to pursue his goal, he knows the importance of perseverance.The importance of perseverance is to face challenges and become closer to achieving goals.
Facing challenges is an everyday battle everyone goes through and perseverance is the key to overcoming them.For example, single mom of two lost her job and is now on the verge of losing all her money. Perseverance will guide her to face these challenging life bumps, and push her to get a job, which makes her overcome every day battles of life.In addition, Zach got a new five month old lab.He gets frustrated because he’s had the dog for two weeks and cannot seem to teach him any tricks.Again, just like the single mother of two losing her money, Zach will use perseverance to keep trying to teach his dog tricks.Having to face challenges will happen, it’s the inevitable, but however the gift of perseverance can conquer many challenges and bring goals to reality.
Becoming closer to achieving goals is also another branch of perseverance. For example, an eighteen year old athletic swimmer dreams of becoming an Olympic swimmer since the age of nine and his steady perseverance throughout the years kept him closer to achieving his life goal. In addition, Ally hopes to one day become an attorney.She is starting sophomore year, and all through middle school and freshman year, she’s worked hard to keep a GPA of three point five.Perseverance had Ally stay on track.Owning perseverance as a character trait can help better focus on what’s important,character trait.
